What will you deliver? Are you ready for the selling moment? Does your customer know what to expect from you?

I know it's impossible to be clear about everything you're going to do before it even happens - but it's important to have at least the draft.

My advice is that, before you even receive a message from someone, you already know a few things:

1. How do you want the customer to see you? Show in your approach files - portfolio and business proposal - your commitment to quality and organization by sending a well-done file with clear, sensible ideas.

2. What will you do once he closes a contract? what will be your next

step? - Draw a path, more or less, clear so you - and your customer - know exactly where you're going.

3. What are you not going to do? Make it clear to the customer what your

responsibilities and which will not be, so it will be possible to avoid frustrations and misunderstandings.

I hope these reflections help you when closing your first client!

Save it to remember when you're nervous about the first approach :D
